Related workflows: Save call result (Google Sheets) and Send follow-up (WhatsApp).
What it does
It calls a prospect, presents your company’s value proposition in one or two sentences, asks a couple of qualifying questions, handles basic objections, and tries to close a 15-minute demo with the sales team. If there’s no interest, it says goodbye without pushing and can offer to send a resource later on. It’s a single prompt agent in Spanish, with a professional, friendly tone, responses capped at two or three sentences, and soft transition phrases to sound conversational. This template doesn’t include a workflow that launches the call: it assumes you already have your own outbound-call trigger (for example, one like Outbound call trigger (Webhook)) or that you dial manually.
How the call goes
- It introduces itself. It greets with the agent’s and the company’s name, and confirms who it’s speaking with.
- It explains the value. In one sentence, it says why it’s calling and what problem your company solves.
- It qualifies interest. It asks two or three questions to understand fit: what the prospect uses today, what their main problem is.
- It handles objections. If the prospect says they’re not interested, it responds with empathy and asks about their current priority before pushing further or backing off.
- It closes. If there’s interest, it proposes booking a 15-minute demo. If not, it says goodbye politely and can offer to send information through another channel.
What you need
- A phone number to call from
- Your own outbound-call trigger that passes the dynamic variables the prompt needs (see below)
- A Google Sheets and WhatsApp Business connection, if you’re going to use the post-call workflows
Getting started
1
Create the agent
In Agents, click Create Agent, select the “Outbound sales” template, and click Use template.
2
Fill in the two template variables
Both appear in the Identidad del Agente (Agent Identity) block and in the opening greeting. Change them in both places.
3
Prepare the per-call dynamic variables
Unlike other templates, this agent needs several different dynamic variables on every call, not just one:
If your call trigger doesn’t fill one of these in, the agent will say it literally in curly braces during the call. Set them in the step that launches the call, the same way
mail is set in Lead management.4
Set up the post-call workflows (optional)
Add Save call result (Google Sheets) and Send follow-up (WhatsApp) from the agent’s Workflow section if you want to log each call’s outcome or follow up automatically.
5
Publish the workflows you use
Each workflow has to be published. If you skip this step, the agent won’t be able to use them.
6
Test and publish
Make a test call passing every dynamic variable and check the agent uses them correctly. Then publish the agent.
Before publishing
Keep in mind the following points when setting up your template:- Launching the call: you’ll need to build or reuse your own outbound-call trigger; this template doesn’t include one, unlike Lead management, which ships with its own.
- Incomplete dynamic variables: check the corresponding step before the first real call — it’s the most likely thing to trip up when setting up this template for the first time, and the agent doesn’t flag that they’re missing, it just reads them literally.
- Giving prices or getting technical: the prompt explicitly asks the agent not to give concrete pricing before qualifying and to avoid jargon; adjust that section if your product requires it.
- Transferring to a person: add the transfer tool if you want to be able to hand the call to a human rep in the moment; by default, the agent only books a demo for later.
- Logging the result or following up: set up the post-call workflows Save call result and Send follow-up if you need them; by default, the agent leaves no trace of the call once it hangs up.
